I hobbled to Cathedral Osteopaths with an extremely painful heel (plantair fasciitis). Eleanor Schofield treated me over a six week course, and I left with a spring in my step, pain free and very happy. What is more, I have been able to get back in my wellies (not worn for 6 months) and into the woods again.
Thoroughly recommend Cathedral Osteopaths, and you couldn’t have a more beautiful view of the cathedral PLUS an excellent coffee shop next door!

I am a primary school teacher, I have suffered from heel pain for quite a while now. When I came to see Eleanor walking really hurt, it hurt to put my foot down on the ground and it felt like I had limited movement and the pain was really bad in the mornings. I was doing less, avoiding going to the coast and avoiding places because I just couldn’t walk. I was avoiding doing the things I liked, such as countryside walks. I would normally walk to town and back instead of using the car but was unable to do this in case I was too sore to walk back. Now 6 weeks later I am really pleased, I did a 7 mile walk around Scarborough, even climbing up to the cliff top!
The exercises I’ve been taught, you can continue for life, the leg massages really helped with loosening up my issues and the exercises were good. Using the online videos and explanations they provide for at home helped make sure I was doing the exercises correctly too, helping it to be fool proof! I would definitely recommend coming to Cathedral Osteopaths, I could see a definite improvement whilst on my programme and Eleanor was knowledgeable and professional.
