It’s amazing – I don’t even think about it anymore

I came to see Eleanor because I had plantar fasciitis in both feet, but very severely in my left foot. I was struggling to walk, and sometimes even to stand. Riding my horses and just getting around were all painful. I was thinking about it all the time, I was constantly very aware of it. But now, its amazing, I don’t even think about it anymore.  Now I'm back to riding and walking, which makes me so happy. I would absolutely recommend coming to Cathedral Osteopaths for treatment and advice.

  • Feeling absoulutely brilliant

Hello my name is Audrey and I’ve been to see Eleanor with the complaint of plantar fasciitis. It was really painful just to walk any kind of distance, I was struggling with day to day work and could not go out and enjoy walking. Now I am feeling absolutely brilliant, I can do a lot more walking; we are going to France and Canada over the summer and I can now go not worrying about how much I will be able to do I, I expect we will be enjoying lots of walking! Anyone struggling with a similar problem definitely needs to come to Cathedral Osteopaths and have treatment!

  • When I can to see Eleanor I was having severe pain in my heel and it was causing me a lot of bother because I didn’t feel like I was walking correctly, I was compensating on the other side and it just really hurt. It definitely started to effect my everyday life even though I tried using cold and resting it it still persisted so I knew I needed to get some further help. I enjoy playing the flute and lots of gardening which I couldn’t enjoy as much. Now I am absolutely loads better! If you’re suffering from a similar problem definitely get it seen to, have it looked at by someone as carefully as Eleanor did for me and follow her advice and treatment plan it has been extremely worth while!

  • “I can now do the things I used to, I would definitely recommend Cathedral Osteopaths”

When I came to Cathedral Osteopaths I was suffering from plantar fasciitis. It was really painful and I was limping a lot. It was making me feel very down, I felt like it had taken away a lot of my ability to do things like going walking. Now I am so much better, I can enjoy small walks and do the things I used to be able to do again, I can do more than 10 minutes housework without having to stop because of pain.

I would definitely recommend Cathedral Osteopaths, the therapy I’ve had here has helped a lot!

  • Cathedral Osteopaths is a sponsor of RCFC.  We do a weekly surgery there on training night.

I think it’s an amazing thing to have as a club. She’s definitely helped me with stuff and heavy legs. Definitely helps with recovery after match days and she’s helped a lot with injuries as well.

Very helpful. If I didn’t see her I wouldn’t have known I’ve been battling with tendinitis. It's a long road but I’m getting better.

    Leanna

Personally I think the physio is very beneficial, she’s nice and really professional.  Every time I have been there I’ve felt fit; she’s dedicated and works hard to make sure players are fit for our games. She’s really helped sort me and the rest of the boys out.

  • I was struggling with lower back problems and pain from Osteoarthritis in my hips, It was making me miserable because when I came to do certain jobs it could be very painful.

Since visiting Cathedral Osteopaths, I'm much improved.  The difference has been vast, I feel amazing and I can't say thank you enough.

    Sue Sandy, Ripon

  • I hobbled to Cathedral Osteopaths with an extremely painful heel (plantair fasciitis).  Eleanor Schofield treated me over a six week course, and I left with a spring in my step, pain free and very happy.  What is more, I have been able to get back in my wellies (not worn for 6 months) and into the woods again.
Thoroughly recommend Cathedral Osteopaths, and you couldn’t have a more beautiful view of the cathedral PLUS an excellent coffee shop next door!

I am a primary school teacher, I have suffered from heel pain for quite a while now. When I came to see Eleanor walking really hurt, it hurt to put my foot down on the ground and it felt like I had limited movement and the pain was really bad in the mornings. I was doing less, avoiding going to the coast and avoiding places because I just couldn’t walk. I was avoiding doing the things I liked, such as countryside walks. I would normally walk to town and back instead of using the car but was unable to do this in case I was too sore to walk back. Now 6 weeks later I am really pleased, I did a 7 mile walk around Scarborough, even climbing up to the cliff top!

The exercises I’ve been taught, you can continue for life, the leg massages really helped with loosening up my issues and the exercises were good. Using the online videos and explanations they provide for at home helped make sure I was doing the exercises correctly too, helping it to be fool proof! I would definitely recommend coming to Cathedral Osteopaths, I could see a definite improvement whilst on my programme and Eleanor was knowledgeable and professional.
