LIFE CHANGING RESULTS

Cathedral Osteopaths are helping their patients with herniated discs with IDD Therapy. We reveal how it helped ease one patient's debilitating back and leg pain

Diane Moore from Bedale, was an animal health advisor working for a feed company. This is her story.

'I was struggling with pain, it was shooting down my leg and I had severe restrictions in my lower back, it was incredibly stiff. It was stopping me from doing absolutely everything.

'I couldn't sit in a car, I couldn't stand up for any length of time without any pain, I was walking with a limp.
'And despite taking painkillers it was just a horrible pain which made me so tired, everything I did was hard work. I didn't go a day without feeling miserable about it. It was dreadful and I just didn't know what was happening to me.

'I saw a physiotherapist a few times who sent me for a MRI scan of my back. The result was that I had a damaged disc which was trapping a nerve -the cause of all my pain. The physiotherapist told me that I needed more help and recommended I see Vanessa at Cathedral Osteopaths as she knew she offered IDD Therapy and that Vanessa had helped another one of her clients with a prolapsed disc.

'I went to see Vanessa who assessed me and looked at my MRI, and said I was a suitable candidate for IDD Therapy, so I began it straight away.

'It is a year since I started my IDD Therapy and I have felt much, much better. It has really helped me a lot. My life has returned to normal. I can look after my sheep, and I started running again a few months ago. I now know how to take care of my back and  I made some needed lifestyle changes which will hopefully prevent any future injury. The next goal for me is to get on the back on my husband's motorbike, but I have to wait for his broken ankle to heal first!'

'I would recommend IDD Therapy to anyone struggling with the same symptoms I had.'
